Do you have a retail store/showroom?

We have one retail store/showroom located in the Sydney CBD. You can find our store on Level 2 of the Queen Victoria Building at Shop 34-36. The QVB address is 455 George Street, Sydney 2000 NSW. Our online store is accessible to all and you are able to browse and shop for every available GS Diamonds product, including all of our diamonds.

 

Do you have certified diamond graders and gemologists on hand?

Yes! We have several qualified diamond graders and gemologists in our GS Diamonds team who can grade and provide information on both diamonds or gemstones. They are an integral part of our customer service team.

 

Do you have a qualified jewellery valuer on hand?

Yes! Our jewellery valuer is a long-time member of the National Council of Jewellery Valuers. Our in house valuer is able to provide a complimentary valuation after the completion of your purchase.

Are your diamonds conflict free? 

Yes! We only stock diamonds that have been purchased from legitimite sources, not involved in funding conflict, and in compliance with the United Nations resolutions. Each stone is guaranteed conflict free! 

 

Why do diamond prices differ from day to day?

Our diamond prices change according to the AUD to USD Dollar fluctuation. We always update our prices accordingly.

 

Are your diamonds online located in store?

Our online diamond inventory consists of diamonds sourced from diamond exporters located overseas. We do however carry a vast range of hand selected diamonds in store for you to view. Are your diamonds online located in store?

Can I come in to view a diamond?

Only diamonds from our in-store stock can be viewed before purchasing. 

  

Do your diamonds come with a Diamond Grade Report?

Yes! All diamonds over .30cts (this includes diamonds set in jewellery as well as loose diamonds) purchased from GS Diamonds come with an official Diamond Certificate (also known as a Diamond Grading Report). Three of the most highly respected diamond laboratories, renowned internationally for their accuracy and integrity, provide GS Diamonds with these Certificates.

 

Can I custom design a ring?

Yes! Custom designing is a great way to create a ring that is perfect for your or your partners unique personality. We have an in house CAD designer who can draw up and design plans for your ideal ring before it is made so you can be part of the process from start to finish. We also custom make all types of jewellery items. At this present moment, custom design is most effective when done in-store with one of our sales consultants. Can I modify one of your designs for my order?

How long does it take to set an engagement ring?

We can set centre stones within 2 days as long as all products are in stock and there are no modifications to be made. If there are multiple diamonds in your ring, please allow 1-2 weeks for all stones to be set. Please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. Do you charge a setting fee?

If you purchase both a setting and diamond/gemstone(s) from GS Diamonds, we do not charge a setting fee. If you have purchased a diamond/gemstone(s) from elsewhere we will set your stone in one of our settings for a fee.

  

Do you provide cleaning and care services for GS Diamonds jewellery?

Yes! We provide in store cleaning and polishing service for all GS Diamonds jewellery only. Your first polish and Rhodium plating is free on the products you purchased from us. All future Rhodium plating, polishing and cleaning is at a small fee.

 

How do I find my ring size?

Please visit our retail store for a complimentary ring sizing!

 

Do you resize rings not made/purchased from GS Diamonds? 

Unfortunately we can not resize any other items of jewellery not made or purchased from GS Diamonds.  

 

Can you engrave an item of jewellery for me?

Yes! We offer two types of engraving – block and script. Engraving is free on all new orders. Engraving is available on all other items of jewellery for a small fee.

 

Do I need to book an appointment to speak with a consultant in-store?

You do not need to book an appointment to visit our showroom, however we do advise coming into our store closer to our opening hours (10:00am Monday to Saturday and 11:00am Sundays) to avoid waiting for an extend period of time in case our consulants are busy.

Why are your prices so cheap?

We import direct from international diamond manufacturers and metal suppliers, and with a fast turn over, we are able to provide exquisite jewellery items and loose diamonds at wholesale prices.

 

Can I order through your website?

Yes! You can order online using PayPal. We will contact you before you are billed to confirm your order. If your item(s) are not available at the time of ordering, one of our jewellery and diamond consultants will find new, similar diamond(s) or re-order products for you. Please do not send through a second order.

  

I need help ordering online - what do I do?

How long does a diamond take to come in from overseas?

It takes approximately 5 to 7 days to arrive at our Head Office where it will be immediately sent to our showroom. Please This email address is being protected from spambots. I’ve ordered the wrong ring size – what do I do?

Return your ring to us within 30 days for 1 free ring resizing. This is not valid on tension rings or eternity rings. These will need to be re-manufactured at the customer’s cost so please choose carefully. If a ring is more than 3 sizes wrong it may need to be re-made completely depending on the ring design. How can I pay for my GS Diamonds item? 

We accept PayPal, Bank/wire Transfers and all major Credit Cards (excluding Diners Club). Please see our Payment Options section in our Terms and Conditions for more information. Customers purchasing from our website can only pay via PayPal.

 

Do you offer financing?

No. We do not offer financing on any GS Diamonds jewellery or diamonds.

 

Can I track my order online?

Yes! Our online consultants handling your order will stay in touch with you on its progress.

 

 

INSURANCE & SHIPPING

 

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer fast, free shipping on all purchases in Australia and New Zealand, regardless of order amount.

International customers will be responsible for any duty, taxes or surcharges levied or charged by their country, so please check with local authorities prior to playing your order.

Which company do you use for shipping?

We us Australia Post Express Platinum postal service for deliveries within Australia, and FedEx International Priority for international purchases.

 

Can I pick up my items in store?

Yes! You can pick up your GS Diamonds items in store unless purchased using PayPal. PayPal purchases can only be shipped to the address provided by the customer through PayPal and cannot at any time be collected in store. This is a security measure in place to protect the buyer.

  

Do you provide insurance for GS Diamonds jewellery?

We do not provide in house insurance for our jewellery, however we have partnered with Centrestone Insurance, Australia’s leading jewellery insurance provider, to provide our customers with comprehensive insurance worldwide. What sort of warranty do you offer with GS Diamonds items?

All our jewellery comes with a Lifetime Guarantee against manufacturing faults, offering you peace of mind. If for any reason you find a manufacturing fault with your jewellery item, please bring it in to our store in to us to be assessed by our jewellers for repair. What Happens If I Want To Change Or Need To Cancel My Order?

You can contact our sales team and they will be able to assist you with your order and any change or cancellation you may have.

   

How Do I Find My Ring Size?

If you are living interstate or overseas depending on distance we can send you ring sizes so you will be able to measure your ring finger. If you live in Sydney you can visit our showroom where our sales consultants would be more than happy to help you with your size.

 

What If I Don't Order The Correct Ring Size?

Please contact our sales team and they will direct you on how to go about fixing the issue.

 

Can You Engrave My Ring?

Yes we can engrave your ring, however you only have a choice of block or script and this will depend on the ring as to wether it can be done.

 

Are Your Online Prices The Same As In Store?

Yes they are whether you buy online or decide to come into the store you will receive the same wholesale price as on our website.

 

Can I Custom Design An Engagement Ring?

Yes you can custom design your engagement ring, all our staff is qualified to assist you with any design you may desire, we have master jewellers who will then create the ring of your dreams. We also have hundreds of ring designs for you to view in our showroom.

 

If I Need A Ring Within A Week Or Earlier Is It Possible?

Contact our staff for more accurate details ,where its possible depending on stock holdings and work load we can do.

 

Do I Need To Make An Appointment To View Diamonds Or A Setting?

You do not need to make an appointment, although sometimes it helps if you can contact us before hand to tell us what you might be looking for so we can be more prepared to help you further.

 

What Happens If A Ring I Like On Your Website Is Not In Stock?

We can happily create a special order for you which will take between 4 to 6 weeks approximately.

 

Are All Your Rings And Jewellery On Your Website Available To View In Your Store? Are There More Designs Which Are Not On Your Website To View?

Most of the designs are ready to view, touch and feel which we feel is very important to help make your choice easier.
We also have allot of other different designs that are not on our website.If you have the opportunity you will not be disappointed if you visit our showroom.
